"Striving for Success SON!" |
Everyone in your school has the potential for greatness. Whether or not one chooses to unlock that potential is up to them. Anyone can tell you to “do your best” or “reach for the stars”, but just being told to do something doesn’t necessarily mean that you are going to do it. Eventually it always comes down to the doer, not the teller.
Its easy to be sarcastic about striving for success... saying the effort will not be worth the reward is a lazy
The phrase, “money doesn’t buy happiness” isn’t quite as accurate as it might have been, even 10 years ago. It may be callous, but it’s true, happiness, to at least some degree, requires a little bit of cash... and the most surefire way to make sure you have that cash is good, old fashioned, hard work...
Sure there are a few people in the world who have achieved success, seemingly out of nowhere, but I guarantee that in 15 years you will be someone that you really want to be.
I hope with these words, I have motivated you to think about how you want to spend the rest of your life.
With Love,
Aswandi Chaniago Pamuntjak
(Your Daddy)
