Everyone in your school has the potential for greatness. Whether or not one chooses to unlock that potential is up to them. Anyone can tell you to “do your best” or “reach for the stars”, but just being told to do something doesn’t necessarily mean that you are going to do it. Eventually it always comes down to the doer, not the teller.

Its easy to be sarcastic about striving for success... saying the effort will not be worth the reward is a lazy

Could My Castle Stay Strong?

Sometimes I fear that time will run out

And I would have…

Done nothing achieved nothing

Proven nothing

Accomplished nothing

The word failure is my gravity

It renders me useless, worthless

So I don’t even try

I have let sands of chances slip through my fingers

Too scared of the sand getting into my eyes

Give me ten thousand grains of sand to make a castle

And I would only make a pillar
